On March 5, 2018 we took the new camper on a trial run. We did our trip around the US last summer (2017) on our motorcycle with the TimeOut tent trailer but then we decided that to travel now we want to stay for a while in one area so we need new arrangements.
Now we thought of lots of alternatives, motorhomes (class A or class C), another toyhauler, so many options. Then we decided that with a motorhome we would only have 1 vehicle, and with the toyhauler we would have the truck and the bike but this would mean buying a new truck to pull all of that. SO, we found this little 14 foot 2015 KZ Sportsmen 14rb. It has everything we need, plenty of storage, and a bathroom with shower. We also bought a screen room to setup beside the awning leaving room under the awning for us to park the bike in bad weather.

So this has all we need, and we did not have to get a new truck (this one runs great and is paid off), we are able to put the bike in the truck bed and pull the trailer and still be within our load limit. We did invest in new shocks and some front end work.

setting up camp |
Our first camping expedition in the new camper was in March 2018 and we went to the
Oleno State Park in High Springs Florida. We have now been to quite a few of the Florida State Parks and I have to say that ALL we have been to so far have been absolutely wonderful. Well taken care of, friendly employees, large clean sites, great bathrooms, and so much more.
Ok so Ziva like the new camper too. And she loves camping too. Here she is the first morning askingfor some coffee, LOL. She does this begging thing all the time, I have read and heard that many dachshund's do this same thing, they are not suppose to because of the possible back problems that they are prone to but we cannot stop her from doing it. We have tried everything, she is stubborn and determined to do this.

I did not get a picture of the park entrance sign until the next day and was not the best picture either. |
A few pictures of the park, we did walk one of the trails and it is a very interesting park.

In town were lots of old buildings. |
Next is Laura Walker State Park in Georgia.
